Counselling helps members look at their problems, to talk about their feelings both about themselves and their past experiences. Those who have availed of this service have found it to be of great benefit both personally and professionally.

S.A.V.E.R./N.A.V.E.R. recently opened a Counselling suite situated in the newly opened Bingham Court, Main Street Markethill.These premises are unique in the area and will be used for a wide variety of purposes apart from simply S.A.V.E.R./N.A.V.E.R. activities such as counselling and support groups. Strengthening Families meetings and Family Group conferences will use the facilities available in the counselling suite.

Our two counselors are both members of the British Association of Counselling and physiotherapy. One of them is a registered psychiatric nurse and has been working in this capacity for over 15 years.

Both have acquired training and counseling experience in Suicide Prevention, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Sexual Dysfunction, Child Abuse, Self Harming, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Domestic Abuse and Bereavement. Both have received Bounce training and the Hope coaching. The levels of experience of both our counselors mean they are extremely valuable to our team
